Hotels seem to be tripping over themselves these days to offer more high-tech amenities than their competitors. With WiFi access becoming somewhat ubiquitous for most hotel chains serving business travelers, a measure of creativity is in order. Case in point: W Hotel's new pool chairs.
According to a recent news report in TIME magazine, the W Los Angeles will be rolling out a new touch-screen pool chair ordering system for food and drink. Simply make your selection and the WiFi takes over.
Starwood's Chief Experience Officer (nope, that's not a typo) Ross Klein adds."Having something take no effort at all is becoming the ultimate amenity to luxury travelers"
No word from Starwood on how long before the "finish my screenplay" touch-screen option will be made available to guests.
