Judging from a variety of reports from the blogosphere and news outlets, wireless giant AT&T is rethinking its adoption of Google's Android. AT&T Wireless' Ralph de la Vega is 'very interested' in integrating Android into the carrier's phones after looking further at the flexibility offered by the platform.

"I'm pretty impressed with what I have seen,'' de la Vega told Bloomberg on April 2. ``I like the progress they're making.'"
To date, only T-Mobile and Sprint have agreed to include Android in their devices, so the adoption of a major carrier could be just what Google's mobile development platform needs to get out of the starting blocks.
